im very curious as to what people use as someone who doesnt use spotify
Paid spotify, bc it got me premium music and a non-premium Hulu account for only $10! I know Spotify has its evils, but I need music in my life and spent years trying to find a way to enjoy music without using itunes/relying on youtube. I had to resort to itunes… until Spotify came along and offered a lot more freedom and personalization (and was way better at finding similar music to what I knew than any other program out there… looking at you, Pandora) and all for either free, or a hella low price.

This wonderful prompt has been inspired by someone who wishes to remain anonymous, thank you very much! The mirror is broken, but its shards still reflect the light. Let it be prettiness in destruction, seven years of bad luck or a magic artifact losing its spell - as long as you write about this broken mirror. How did it break? Why? And most importantly, what does it now show? Truth and lies, they’re all yours! Go and write!
Me over here, just tired of everyone saying all orange cats are stupid/himbos, and deciding to finally yell about how stupid people sound when they say this - if I went by this logic, they’d be implying that all men are crafty genius masterminds with a biological disorder that makes it hard to know when they’re full after eating, based on my orange cat. Not all orange cats are ‘himbos’, not all calicos/torties are sassy.
Much like Jackson says, we’re applying our human, gendered conceptions to these animals, and it’s honestly doing them a disservice. (Men are stupid and women are sassy? That’s what we’re boiling it down to? Egh. My orange cat is incredibly smart, and my calico is the village idiot who wants nothing more than snuggles, and rarely has attitude! None of my three cats really line up with popular misconceptions about cats at all.)
Anyways, anything you attribute to 'orange cat himbo heehoo’ is probably just average cat behavior and nothing to do with fur color - fur color can only have three patterns, and it can be determined by their biological sex… but it doesn’t determine intelligence.
Fun fact though, speaking of coat color: if your cat has white on it and it isn’t a pure white cat? That’s a spot. So if your cat is 90% white with 10% black? That’s a black cat with a big white spot on it!

You can, however, duckduckgo something! Because in our youth we trusted Google as the preeminent and foremost search engine does not mean it still is. All you gotta do is… let go. Trust fall into some new search engines. Stop using Chrome. Stop using Google.
as 90% of desktop users have probably found out, today @staff released an update that for some insane reason COMPLETELY remodels the dashboard to replicate twitter’s. this is of course in the wake of numerous other thoroughly hated changes and a continued refusal to fix any of the site’s actual problems, half of which stem directly from site management.
HOWEVER, thanks to the power of jQuery, i was able to throw together a userscript that remodels the dashboard back to its original look almost perfectly.

it’s hardly perfect; i had trouble making it force reload to the fixed layout when switching between other pages and the dashboard, and it currently only fixes just the dashboard. it’s also completely untested on browsers other than firefox, and chances are it looks a bit screwy on ultrawide monitors. but for now at least, it’s a good fix.
the unfucker is a tampermonkey userscript. all you have to do to use it is install the tampermonkey extension, hit “create new script”, and replace the default code on the page with the script (link here) and save it.
The new layout it a whole mess. Thankfully Xkit can already help with a bunch of this! I’m sure it’ll give more options soon.

After playing the sims 4 for so many years, the standard maps start to get tiring to look at. And just like curating your loading screen and CAS backgrounds to fit the vibe of your gameplay, maps are a great way to customize your experience.

New Information regarding the ‘Wizard’s Vault’ reward system launching with SotO on the 22nd!
The Vault will be available for all players with a LvL80 character, regardless of Soto ownership, and the system is set to replace Daily Achievements and Daily Login Rewards.
This does not affect Dailies such as Living World, EoD, Fractals, etc. Only the general ones. You still earn achievement points for doing the new vault dailies, however, and Daily Completionist.
The Vault
There are three sections - Daily, Weekly, and ’Special’.
The Special Objectives are set to refresh every few months along with the rewards offered in the Vault.
There will be the option to choose if you would like your Dailies (etc) to be PvE, PvP, WvW, or any mix you like of these catagories. If you only want PvE dailes, you can select it that way.
Examples of Weeklies shown in the UI screenshot:
PvP - Complete 5 Tiers of a structured pvp reward track.
Completing Dailies will reward Astral Acclaim, logging in will also give you a little Acclaim. [from here]

Those with SotO will have access to a few extra exclusive rewards, as of yet they have mentioned the Enchanted Owl Griffon Skin (above), a new weapon collection set, and three pieces of Unique armour.
Vault Rewards will change every few months. However, any cosmetics items introduce through the Vault will be moved into a Legacy Section, and continue to be available for forever, at a slightly increased price. Nothing only available from the Vault will ever be on a time limit, you will always be able to obtain them.
